High Plain and Valley

Day 1: From the city of Salta we begin our journey to the town of Santa Rosa de Tastil where will visit the archaeological site located in the surroundings of the town with more than 4000 petroglyphs scattered on the hillsides, we will continue our journey to the intersection of routes 51 and 40. At this point we will begin our climbing to nearly 5000 meters altitude, descending we will face the beginning of Calchaquí Valley, we will continue to the town of Cachi where we will overnight.

Day 2: Driving along Route 40 we will observe the most varied and spectacular scenery, we will visit the towns of Seclantás, Molino and San Carlos, arriving to the town of Cafayate, where, we will visit the most remarkable wineries after lunch. Overnight in Cafayate night.

Day 3: During this day we will begin our return to the city of Salta, we will travel along route 68 and we will be able to see geological formations of spectacular beauty. We will have lunch with the great body of water of Cabra Corral and then we will set off towards the city of Salta. Night in Salta.
